Common refrigerator problems
Ice maker not making ice
A failed ice maker module, water inlet valve, frozen fill tube or a clogged water filter.
Ice maker leaking
Water dripping into the freezer or ice bin, often from a bad inlet valve or a cracked fill cup.
Small or hollow ice cubes
Low water pressure, a clogged filter or a weak inlet valve not letting enough water in.
Ice dispenser jammed
Ice clumped in the bin, a broken auger motor or a stuck dispenser door.
Buzzing, clicking or rattling
Usually a failing evaporator fan, condenser fan or an ice maker cycling without water.
Loud fan noise
Ice buildup hitting the fan blades or worn fan motor bearings. Replacing the fan quiets it down.

Do you repair refrigerators that aren't cooling?
No. I don't do cooling or sealed-system repairs like compressors or refrigerant. I repair ice makers and noise problems such as fans and ice maker issues.
Why is my ice maker not working but water works?
If the water dispenser works, the supply line is fine. The problem is usually the ice maker module, a frozen fill tube or a separate inlet valve for the ice maker.
Is a noisy refrigerator dangerous?
Usually not, but a loud fan often means it's wearing out. Replacing it early keeps the fridge running properly.
